Why Was My Payout Request Denied ?

Mistakes that can lead to payout rejection.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Summary

While MegaTrader strives to approve all eligible payout requests promptly, there are several reasons a request may be denied. This guide outlines the most common issues so you can avoid delays and ensure your request is successful.

Incomplete Trading Requirements

You must complete all minimum payout criteria before requesting a withdrawal. Requests are denied if:

  • Minimum trading days are not met (e.g., 10 days for Funded Plan accounts)

  • You haven’t reached the current profit target tier

  • You violated the Consistency Rule during the payout cycle

Breaching Account Limits

Your account must remain above required thresholds during the payout review. Requests may be denied if:

  • Your balance falls below the drawdown buffer before approval

  • You fail the account before the review completes

  • You trade beyond contract size limits or violate other platform rules

Incorrect or Incomplete Information

Providing inaccurate payout details can result in rejection. Common mistakes include:

  • Typing errors in your email address or crypto wallet

  • Mismatched information between your profile and payout request

  • Failure to complete KYC (Know Your Customer) verification when required

Technical or System Flags

MegaTrader may deny payouts for accounts flagged by compliance systems. Examples include:

  • Suspected trade copying or team trading

  • Hedging or instrument violations

  • Attempts to exploit latency or automation loopholes

Request Submitted Too Early

Some traders submit requests before the account is fully eligible. This can include:

  • Submitting before daily reconciliation confirms payout status

  • Continuing to trade after submitting the request and breaking platform rules

What to Do If You’re Denied

  • Review the reason sent in your rejection message

  • Resolve any eligibility issues and meet all required criteria

  • Wait for the next eligible window and re-submit your request

If you’re unsure about the reason, contact support for clarification.
