How to Switch Between Trading Platforms in MegaTrader

MegaTrader supports multiple trading platforms, including TradingView, NinjaTrader, and others. Switching between them is simple once your accounts are properly set up. This article explains how to manage your connections and switch seamlessly.


Understand Your Platform Access

Each MegaTrader plan includes access to one or more platforms. Be sure to check your subscription details to confirm which platforms are included and supported.

Some platforms may require add-ons or agreements before access is granted.


Access Your Platform Credentials

To switch platforms, first log into your MegaTrader dashboard and locate your platform credentials. These will be listed under your active account section.

Make sure to use the correct login details when accessing external platforms.


Complete Required Agreements

Before using any platform, ensure you’ve signed the Non-Professional Data Agreement required to activate live data feeds.

Each platform may prompt you to sign this during your first login or under its settings section.


Enable Platform Add-Ons

If you're switching to TradingView or another supported interface, make sure to activate the corresponding add-on:

  • Log in to your broker portal (e.g., Tradovate)

  • Go to Application Settings > Add-ons

  • Enable the integration (e.g., TradingView Add-On)


Switch the Platform Connection

Open the platform you want to use:

  • In TradingView, go to the Broker Panel and select Tradovate

  • In NinjaTrader, configure the connection using your MegaTrader-issued credentials

Log in, authorize access, and start trading. You may switch back to another platform at any time by logging out and logging into a different one.


Important Notes

  • Once a plan is purchased, you cannot change the selected trading platform for that account

  • You can purchase an additional plan with a different platform if needed

  • Only one platform can be active per account at a time

  • Always disconnect properly before switching

  • Your trading activity is tracked regardless of the platform used
