Delayed Market Data ? How to Fix Your Feed

If you’re seeing delayed quotes, charts, or trade execution inside the MegaX platform, it’s usually due to incomplete activation steps, expired sessions, or data feed permissions not being properly applied. This article will help you identify the cause and restore live market access.


Sign Required Agreements on First Login

To receive real-time market data, you must complete any required user agreements when first logging into MegaX. These prompts appear automatically when your account is activated. If they are skipped or dismissed, your feed may default to delayed mode until completed.

Be sure to log in using your official MegaX credentials from the MegaTrader dashboard and follow any setup prompts carefully.


Wait for Full Account Activation

Real-time market data becomes available once your MegaTrader account is fully active. If your account is newly created, still under review, or pending payment confirmation, the data feed may remain limited until the platform syncs your access. This typically resolves within a short time after full activation.


Refresh Your Session

If you’ve recently completed account setup or signed an agreement and data still appears delayed, your session may be stale. Log out of the MegaX platform, clear your browser’s cache and cookies, then log back in. You may also try using a private/incognito window for a clean login.


Confirm Platform Settings

Inside MegaX, real-time data is automatically enabled for active accounts. However, if your charts or order book still look frozen or delayed, check your interface settings. Ensure that you are not viewing expired contracts or inactive instruments. If needed, reload the instrument list or reset your workspace layout.


Data Feed May Be Throttled Due to Inactivity

MegaX may throttle non-essential data during extended periods of inactivity. If you’ve been logged in but idle for a long time, refresh your charts or navigate between tabs to reinitialize the live feed. Logging out and back in will also reset the stream.
