Managing Your Payment Methods

Learn how to add, update, and remove payment options.

Summary

The Payment Methods tab is where you manage the cards linked to your MegaTrader account. Here you can add new cards, set a default method, and remove old ones.


Viewing Payment Methods

When you open the tab, you’ll see:

  • Current payment methods on file

  • Expiration dates for each card

  • Default method used for subscriptions

If no methods are saved, you’ll see a notice to add one before purchasing or renewing a plan.


Adding a Payment Method

To add a new card:

  1. Click Add New Payment Method.

  2. Enter card number, expiry date, and CVV.

  3. Check Set as default if you want this card used automatically.

  4. Confirm to save the new method.


Updating the Default Method

If you have multiple cards saved, you can switch the default:

  • Click Make Default next to the new card.

  • Confirm that you’d like all active subscriptions to use it.

  • A success message will confirm the update.


Removing a Payment Method

To delete a card:

  • Select Remove next to the card.

  • If the deleted card was tied to a subscription, your billing will automatically switch to another saved method to prevent interruptions.


Notes by Plan Type

  • Elite and Growth Plans – Monthly subscriptions require an active default payment method.

  • Funded Plans – One-time fee only; no recurring billing.
